Anderson Greene

Mr. Greene, 90, of Shelby passed away Wednesday at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, Mr. Greene was a retired salesman for Wwinson Food Products, Kendall Drug Company, and also retired from Kemet security. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church where he was a member of the Men's Bible Class. He was also a veteran of U. S. Army Air Corp. serving during WW II in Germany with the 100th. Infantry.

Mr. Greene was preceeded in death by his parents George Anderson Greene & Sarah Elizabeth Mauney Greene, brothers Raymond, Max, Robert, Earl & Ben Greene, and sisters Grace Aileen Jones, Margaret Merritt, & Shirley Greene Ryan.

Mr. Greene is survived by his wife Margaret Wallace Greene of the home, a daughter and her husband Kay Greene Sipe & Steve of Shelby, a brother Don Greene and wife Gerri of Raleigh, a grandson Anderson M. Andy Sipe of Shelby, a granddaughter Sara Elizabeth Sipe of Shelby, and a brother-in-law Max Wallace & wife Peggy of Shelby.

Mr. Greene is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
