Barbara Beaver

Barbara Biddix Beaver was born January 17th, 1944 in Mecklenburg county to the late Claude R. and Ruby Hullender Biddix.

Barbara was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Ellenboro and always enjoyed spending time with her family, cross stitching, and was never without a book or devotional. Barbara was a globetrotter who enjoyed many tropical getaways with her husband of 30 years, the late EJ Beaver.

Barbara was known as an elegant woman who was admired for her classy and polished style. To her family, she was a strong and compassionate woman who taught them to love and be true to themselves. She was always there with a kind word but was never shy to tell the truth. Her memory will always be cherished by her family.

On Wednesday, May 21st, 2014, while at the Outer Banks with her family, Barbara extended her beach vacation to the shores of the Crystal Sea in heaven with her Lord and Comforter, Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a son, Billy Barnes, a granddaughter, Mindy Shope, and 2 great grandchildren, Darian Felton and Hannah Alexander.

Her kind and loving spirit is carried on by daughters, Cindy Felton and Donna Leviner and husband, Eddie; 2 sons, Ricky Barnes and wife Lisa and Ronnie Davis; a step-son, Kevin Beaver; a step-daughter Angela Morgan; granddaughters, Crystal Alexander and husband Jerry, Jennifer Lowery and husband Stephen, and Loni Shope; and grandsons, Davy Felton and wife Missy, Shaun Felton, and Anthony Black. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation: 12:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church in Ellenboro.

Funeral Services: 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church.
