Barbara Drewery

Mrs. Drewery, 75, of 657 McBrayer Homestead Road, Sahelby, NC, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, she had worked at Shelby Seamless and retired from Fasco after 21 years of service. She was a member of Springmore Baptist Church and attended Davidson Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Drewery was preceeded in death by her parents Sidney Ralph Holland & Kate Poteat Holland, a son Jeffrey Wayne Arthur and two sisters Sue Scruggs and Patsy Hoyle. Mrs. Drewery is survived by her husband Everette Drewery Jr. of the home, three sons and their wives; Tony Arthur & Susan of Lincolnton, NC, Lee Arthur & Lisa of Shelby, NC, David Arthur & Kim of Belmont, NC, three step-sons; Larry Drewery & Maria of Cliffside, NC, J. C. Drewery & Sheila of Lincolnton, NC, Ricky Drewery & Teresa of Casar, NC, five step-daughters Glenda McCurry & Ronnie of Shelby, NC, Martha Burgoyne of Charlotte, NC, Karen Lundy of Shelby, NC, Kathy Rollins & Don Young of Denver, NC, Pamela Strange & Donald of Cliffside, NC, and a brother Steve Holland. Mrs. Drewery is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will conducted by the Dr. Bobby Ridge and the Rev. Scott Caldwell.
