Barbara Michael

Mrs. Michael, 74, of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County she was a homemaker and member of Union Baptist Church, Eastern Star & was a former nursery worker at church. Mrs. Michael was preceded in death by her parents Horace Walker & Vertie Lee Blanton Walker. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Charles Michael of the home, two sons Tim Michael and his wife Cherry of Shelby, Chris Michael of the home, grandchildren Lindsi Michael Hunter & husband Brett of Wilmington, NC, and Macon Michael of Shelby, great grandchildren Holland & Summerlyn Hunter of Wilmington, NC, also she is survived by her special little dog BB. Memorial services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Shumate pastor of Union Baptist Church of Shelby. Memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church, 3800 Polkville Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
