Mrs. VanDyke, 85, of White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain was a homemaker and raised 4 children with a light hand and a gentle voice. She was loved by all and will be missed terribly. "Bea", as she was fondlly known, always had a smile and a kind word for any and all who knew her. Her door was always open to all, and was usually full of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchldren. She didn't judge people but took them at face value. She will also be remembered for what a gracious and wonderful cook she was and how she loved and cherished times with her family. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
A special thanks to White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain for the excellent care given to Mrs. VanDyke
