Beth Greene

Mrs. Greene, 83, of Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she was the former owner and operator of Shelby Bus Station Grill, and a member of Temple Baptist Church of Shelby. Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her parents Grady Lee Beason & Hattie Ethel Ramsey Beason, her husband Ray Greene, a daughter Judy Bell, three brothers Jack, Ray, and Bob Beason, and two sisters Lee Scruggs and Louise Greene. Mrs. Greene is survived by two sons Steve Greene of Hickory, NC, and Nick Greene and wife Caroline of Charleston, SC, a sister Margie Bostic of Cliffside, NC, Grandsons Tommy Greene and wife Wendy of Shelby, Lee Greene and fiance Jada Safley of Shelby, Jay Greene of Shelby, Joseph Bell of Kings Mountain, and granddaughters Mary Beth Black and husband Jody of Kings Mountain, Karen Greene of Charleston, SC, and Sara Greene of Hickory, NC, and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Hensely.
