Beth Smith

Mrs. Smith 69, of 1203 S. Post Road, Shelby, NC passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she was the owner of Smith Rentals and a member of Putnam Baptist Church where she was in the Pairs & Spares Connection Group. She lobed Go, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was always willing to help a friend in need. She enjoyed reading and working in her flowers and garden. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents Fred & Louise Troutman, and a brother Joel Troutman. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Charles Harold Smith of the home, two daughters and their husbnds; Kimberly Melick & Chris of Lake Bowen, SC, Kelly Harrison & Tim of Kings Mountain, NC, and a son Mark Smith and wife Denise of Camden, Tenn, a brother and his wife Fred Troutman & Barbara of Shelby, NC, and grandchildren Christian & Paige Melick, Sarah & Jacob Smith, Thomas, Nicolas, Issac & Megan Harrison. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Bryan Glisson pastor of Putnam Baptist Church of Shelby. Memorials may be made to Robin Johnson Hospice House, 5005 Shepards Way Dr., Dallas, NC 28034.
