Beulah Griffin

Mrs. Griffin, 70, of 522 Lee Drive, Shelby, NC passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Griffin was a native of Cleveland County, NC, a homemaker and member of Faith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Thomas & Lydia Oakes Thomas, two brothers Charlie & Snook Thomas, and three sisters Frankie Thomas, Evie Jane Thomas & Elizabeth Mathis. Mrs. Griffin is survived by he husband Marshall Griffin of the home, three sons and their wives Thomas Griffin & Tammy of Shelby, Jimmy Griffin & Brenda of Statesville, NC, and Grodon Griffin & Claudette of Shelby, and one daughter and fiance Lydia Griffin & Roger Goode of the home, two brothers John Thomas and Gordon Thomas of Hickory, NC and a sister Virginia Bailes also of Hickory, NC. In addition to these Mrs. Griffin is survived by grandchildren; Kevin Griffin, Brandy Philbeck, Justin Griffin, Mark Griffin, Jessie Griffin, Harley Powell, Emily Griffin, Krystin Griffin & Matt Griffin, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Barry Goodman, and Rev. Johnny Owens of Faith Baptist Church of Shelby, NC.
