Beulah Smith

Mrs. Smith, 94, of Shelby, NC passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at her home.

A native of Cleveland County, NC, Mrs. Smith retired from Crawley Memorial Hospital where she was an advanced Licensed Pritical Nurse. She also did private duty nursing. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and a former member of Sharon United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents Bony Buford Wellmon & Gertie Irene Bridges Wellmon, her husband Troy Franklin Frank Smith Sr., two brothers Buford Wellmon and Max Wellmon, and two sisters Selma Helton, and Ruth Patterson.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons Troy Smith Jr. of Shelby, and Michael Smith and wife Glenda of Kings Mountain, NC, two daughters Linda Smith of the home, and Alecia Mueller of Mt. Pleasant, SC, one sister Vernie Hamrick of Shelby, and a sister-in-law Grace Wellmon of Shelby. In addition to these she is survived by grandchildren; Terressa Bebout, Phillip Smith, Shannon Champion, Tylila Pinkham, Courtney Loveless, Brian Evanger & Matthew Mueller, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Tim Trexler pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
