Bobby Gene Lewis

Mr. Bobby Gene Lewis, 53, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Keller Lewis of the home, three children, Ashley Lewis of Shelby, NC, Haley Yount and husband Brandon of Kings Mountain, NC, and Rick Wellmon and wife Karen of Shelby, NC, seven grandchildren, Hayden, Brayden, Camden, Korbin, Brylee, Macy, and Cole, a brother, Jack Lewis of Cherryville, NC, and a sister, Melony Lewis of Shelby, NC.
Born November 28, 1962 in Cleveland County, Mr. Lewis is the son of Judith Banning Lewis and the late Harold Lewis.
Bobby loved his family, especially his loving wife and grandchildren. Bobby enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and his pets (Choco and Chi-Chi). He was a dedicated worker, working for IMC/Metals America for more than 24 years.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory conducted by Rev. Tony Sisk. A visitation will be held from 2:00 - 3:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
