Brady Kelly

Mr. Kelly, 73, of 1316 Metcalf Rd. Shelby, passed away Tuesday 8-12-2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, NC he retired from the City of Shelby where he was Building Inspector. He was past president of the N. C. Plumbing Association and the Mechanical Association. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church and a past member of the Shelby Civitan Club. He retired from the U. S. Air Force following 21 years of service. He was a Vietnam veteran and received the Bronze Star.
Mr. Kelly's parents were the late John J. Kelly & Beatrice Rabb Kelly and he was also preceeded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife Edith Rathjen Kelly of the home, two sons; Brady H. Kelly Jr. of Shelby and Gary John Kelly of Polkville, NC, and also a number of nieces and nephews.

Rev. Jeff Erbskorn will be the officiatiing minister at the funeral service.
