Brenda Chapman

Brenda Lee Chapman, 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

She is survived by a son, Jeremy Chapman and wife Tamra of Otto, NC, two honorary granddaughters, Hailey and Maddison Watson of Rutherfordton, NC, two brothers, Randy Moore and wife Tracie of Inman, SC and Dannie Moore and wife Pam of Ellenboro, NC, a sister, Barbara Jones and husband Robert of Inman, SC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Born in Spartanburg County on November 24, 1961, Brenda was the daughter of Steve and Vertie Cantrell Moore and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Jerry Ernest Chapman.

Brenda was a faithful member of Royster Avenue Church of God for many years. She loved her family and spending time during holidays.  Brenda enjoyed yard selling, attending baseball games and rodeos.  She also loved her farm animals.  Brenda especially loved being around her grandchildren, Hailey and Maddison.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Royster Avenue Church of God in Shelby, NC with a visitation held one hour prior. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Richard L. Shores and the Rev. Jeremy K. Chapman.
