Brenda Clary

Mrs. Brenda Clary, 68, of Shelby, died on June 30, 2011 at Hospice of Cleveland County. She was employed as an office manager at Sterchis Furniture Store and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Thomas White & Muriel Holtzclaw White. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas White, Jr. and her sister, Jill W. Hubbard. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David Blando Clary of the home; son, David N. Clary & wife Teresa of Plymouth, NC: three grandchildren, Kelsie Clary of Shelby, Carley Clary & Morgan Clary of Plymouth, NC; sister-in-law, Shirley Pruett & husband Roy of Shelby; two nephews, Chris Hubbard & wife, Lori of Shelby & Rusty White of Charleston, SC; two nieces, Angel Shuford & husband Scott of Shelby & Tonya Ezell & husband Jason of Wilmington and a cousin, Donald "Peanut" Costner & wife, Bobbie of Shelby. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory and other times at the home of Shirley Pruett, 2634 Rockford Rd., Shelby, NC The funeral will be held at the funeral on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Bo Wagner & Rev. Robert T. Parsons officiating. Burial will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park at a later date.
