Clara Beason

Clara Mae Bostic Beason, age 93, of Shelby, died on Friday, December 20, 2013, at Wendover Hospice House. A native of Cleveland County, she is the daughter of the late Claude Irvin Bostic and Effie Lowery Bostic. Mrs. Beason loved to get out and garden with her hoe and shovel. She had worked for many years in the food service industry until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max O. Beason; one son, Charles Lynn Beason.

She is survived by her son, Quinn Beason of Shelby; two sisters, Grace Greene of Shelby and Dot Cunningham of Lajolle, CA; two brothers, Albert Bostic of Grassy Pond, SC and Robert Bostic of Mooresboro; one sister-in-law, Jeanette Fox of Shelby.
