Cliff "Bubba" Neighbors Jr.

Cliff “Bubba” Neighbors, age 68, passed away at his residence on April 19, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty Johnson Neighbors of Shelby, NC, a son, Shawn Neighbors, of Cliffside, NC, and a daughter, Chasity Hamrick of Gaffney, SC, six grandchildren, Miranda Neighbors, Bryce Hamrick, Brock Hamrick, Brynn Hamrick, Kindall Batchler, and Tindall Batchler, and two great grandchildren, Izaak Degree and Ian Degree.

Born in Cleveland County on May 9, 1952, Cliff was the son of the late Clifford Eugene Neighbors and Francis Peeler Neighbors.

Cliff was known as Bubba to all who knew him. Bubba loved to play golf and shoot pool. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially taking them to play golf.

A graveside service will be held at Gaston Memorial Park on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 11:00am.
