Mr. Tesseneer, 77, of 4117 West Dixon Blvd., Shelby, NC passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at Crawley Memorial Hospital. A native of Rutherford County, Mr. Tesseneer was retired from Bost Bakery where he was a wrapper and Supervisor for 40 years and also attended Big Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Tesseneer was preceeded in death by his parents Yates Webb Tesseneer Sr. and Susie May Pruitt Tesseneer and one infant brother. Mr. Tesseneer is survived by his wife Dorothy Butler Tesseneer and the home, a son Myron Tesseneer of Shelby, a daughter Karen T. Capps and husband Richard Ingram Capps Sr. of Franklinville, NC, a brother Yates Webb Tesseneer Jr. of Lattimore, 5 sisters Bright Carroll of Lincolnton, Bessie White of Lattimore, Dorcas Ledford of Shelby, Patsy Swink of Lattimore, and Susan Tesseneer of Casar. Mr. Tesseneer has two grandsons Richard Ingram Capps II and Robbie Allen Capps, and one great grandson Bryson Leighton Capps. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Gantt. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
