Corrine Mccoy

Mrs. McCoy, 89, of Shelby, NC passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Willow Ridge Rehab. in Rutherfordton, NC. Mrs. McCoy was a native of Spartanburg County, SC, and was retired from Dover Mill Company after 50 years service as a cloth inspector and was a member of Dover Baptist Church and had volunteered at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in the I.C.U. department. Mrs. McCoy was preceded in death by her parents William Luther Conner & Linnie Allie Ballenger Conner, her husband Earl McCoy, a infant son William Newton McCoy, a brother Dick Conner and two sisters Minnie C. Lynn & Winnie Bell Conner. Mrs. McCoy is survived by a niece and caregiver Gayla Hammond and husband Tom, a niece Susie Long Capehart, a niece Beth Conner Baity, a nephew Rick Conner and a nephew Jimmy Lynn. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Bulo Ervin Price pastor of Dover Baptist Church and Rev. Jerry Rumfelt former pastor of Dover Baptist Church.
