D. Poston

Mr. Poston, 76, of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Hospice House in Kings Mountain. Mr. Poston, a native of Cleveland County, was the son of the late Clyde G. Poston Sr. & Ruth Leonard Poston. He was a brick mason and had worked for Daniel Construction and retired from T. C. Strickland Construction. He was also a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Clyde Poston Jr., Claude Arey Poston Sr., Jerry S. Poston, and Donald Lee Poston, and sisters Annie Poston Wiley and Edna Poston Glover. Mr. Poston is survived by his daughters Connie Gail Poston of Sarasota, Fla., and Tiffany Poston of Shelby, brothers; Dan C. Poston and wife Norma, Glenn A. Poston, and Ronald Poston all of Shelby, NC; sister Barbara Kay Poston Grayson of Shelby, a granddaughter Taylor B. Dessberg of Gainesville, Fla., sister-in-law Cathy M. Poston of Shelby & Barbara W. Poston of Miami, Fla., and a number of nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Jeff Brendle & Rev. Mike McGee. Memorials may be made to Elizabeth Baptist Church, 301 N.
