Daisy Causby

Daisy Cogdell Causby, age 88 of Connelly Springs, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

She is survived by two grandsons, Brandon Foster and Aaron Foster, a granddaughter, Chelsey Foster, great grandchildren, Elise Foster, Adam Foster, and Draven Anness.  She is also survived by her nephew, Samuel H. Godfrey and wife Barbara, and a great nephew Ronnie Foster and wife Rachel.

Born November 12, 1932 in Cleveland County, Daisy was the daughter of the late Robie and Leeila Smart Cogdell and was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

Daisy was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church until she wasn’t able to get around as much.  She always trusted in the Lord and loved her church family.  No matter where Daisy went, she would always bring a smile to your face just by seeing the joy she had in her heart.  She was the kind of person that would do anything for you even if she had to do without.  Daisy loved her family and enjoyed the precious time she had with each and every one of them.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Cleveland Funeral Services conducted by Rev. Scott Holland.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Sandy Run Baptist Church Cemetery.
