Dewey Morgan

Mr. Dewey Wayne Morgan, 70, of Shelby, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Faye Newton Morgan of the home, two children, Donnie Wayne Morgan and wife Tracye of Shelby, NC, and Ginger Morgan Cash and husband Kevin of Clayton, NC, four grandchildren, Andi Morgan, Kati Morgan, Eli Cash, and PD Cash, a brother, Steve Morgan and wife Lavonne of Cherryville, NC, and several nieces and nephews.
Born December 17, 1945 in Cleveland County, Mr. Morgan was the son of the late Clarence Adam Morgan and Annabell Lee Page Morgan and was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Morgan, and a sister, Gale Hunsuck.
Mr. Morgan was a veteran of the United States Army. He later retired from PPG. Dewey was also a Master Mason at Casar Masonic Lodge #579.
Memorial services will be 4:00 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel conducted by Rev. Court Greene. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby NC 28150.
