Dorothy Anne Parker, 74, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. She was born September 24, 1942 in Grove Town, NC to James Arthur and Louise Thompson Parker, living in North Carolina until moving to Glennville in 1987. She had been a member of the Pineland Mental Health program since 1990 and loved to participate and volunteer in helping with the activities. She enjoyed word search puzzles, daily talks with Ms. Dorothy Love, and watching the game shows, wheel of fortune and jeopardy. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lillian Branch; and a brother, Jim Henry Parker.
She is survived by:

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory, 2518 West Dixon Blvd. Shelby, North Carolina 28152. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from the Chapel of Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory. Burial will be in the Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home, Glennville, Georgia and Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory, Shelby, North, Carolina are in charge of the arrangements.
