Earlene Earls

March 14, 1928 — January 3, 2012

Mrs. Earls, 83, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospital. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she lived in Cleveland County most of her life and resided at Somerset Court for several years. Mrs. Earls was a homemaker. She was also a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Ellenboro where she attended the Adult One Sunday School Class. Mrs. Earls was preceded in death by her parents Saul NewtonBlanton & Mammie Irene Blanton, her husband Archie Coyou Earls, brothers; Frank, David, Rayford, Burrel and Etoise Blanton, a sister Thelma Irene Camp, and a granddaughter Angela Childers. Mrs. Earls ia survived by three sons; Kenneth Earls and Deborah Blake of Bessemer City, NC, Walter Earls of Shelby, Donald Earls and wife Diane of Mooresboro, daughters; Glenda Campbell and Fred Parrales of Mooresboro, and Brenda Earls of Shelby, a brother Paul E. Blanton of Gastonia, and two sisters Doris holder of Mt. Holly, and Ruby Parris of Blacksburg, SC. Mrs. Earls is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Owen Duncan.
