Edward Mccarver

Mr. McCarver passed away at the V. A. Hospice in Asheville, NC on Sunday, January 3, 2010. He retired in 1985 from Buensod and Stacy Industry after 10 years of service as a sheet metal worker. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Navy, Pacific Theater as a 3rd Class gunners mate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Leroy McCarver & Fannie Belle Bridges McCarver, wife, Evelyn Elizabeth Metcalf McCarver; son, Danny McCarver; sisters, Nina Ledbetter, Doris Huffstetler, Audrey Addis, Helen Toney & Esther Upchurch; brothers,
Paul McCarver, Thomas McCarver, Melvin McCarver & Harold McCarver.

He is survived by his brother, David McCarver of Hampton, Fla., a special niece Annete McCarver, a number of other nieces and nephews and a special friend, Jan Brooks.
