Eleanor Alexander Lineberger Simmons

Eleanor "Noni" Alexander Lineberger Simmons, age 78, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Shaire Nursing Center after a long battle with dementia. She was born on November 16, 1939 in Cleveland County to the late Sherill Mundy Lineberger and Betty Hamrick. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant children, John and Margaret Sherer.

Those left to cherish her memory is one son, Michael Sherer and wife Laura; two brothers, Buck Lineberger and wife Betsey, Dick Lineberger and wife Judy; and one granddaughter, Josie Sherer. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews.

Funeral services are private.
