Elizabeth Spencer

Mrs. Spencer 80, of 202 Country Club Cr. Shelby, NC passed away Thursday at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church where she was a choir member. She loved all kinds of music and enjoyed playing the panio. Shel loved to travel and spend time with her family and was an avid bridge player. She graduated Goldsboro High School and attended Brenau College, and also served as a poll worker for the Cleveland County Board of Elections and was a volunteer at the Soup Kitchen and the Senior Center.
Her parents were the late Francis West Stanley & Nita "Buddy" Howell Stanley. Her husband was the late Benjamin Franklin Spencer and she was preceeded in death by a grandson Myles Bullock.
Mrs. Spencer is survived by a daughters, Nita Bullock, Mary Bolerjack and husband Dan, Diane Scronce and husband Wayne, a son and wife Dave Spencer and Faith.
Grandchildren Beth Barrington, Nathan Scronce & wife Ashley, Sarah Spencer, Katie Spencer & Spencer Bolerjack. A brother F.W. Stanley.
