Eloise Jones

SHELBY - Eloise Champion Jones, age 87, of Shelby, NC, passed away May 18, 2017 at White Oak Manor.
Born September 2, 1929 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Orville Odus Champion and Laura Emma Bridges Champion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Jones and six siblings.
Eloise was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Myla Lookabill and husband Johnny of Shelby; one grandson, Jeremy Lookabill and wife Amy; three great-grandchildren, Carson Ann Lookabill, Jesse Lookabill, and Chloe Lookabill..
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Reverend Eric Davis officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory is serving the family.
