Emma Henderson

Mrs. Henderson, 86, of Shelby formally of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she retired from Pauline Mills and was a member of Second Baptist Church of Kings Mountain. Mrs. Henderson is preceeded in death by her parents Ed Ellis Causby & Sallie Leila Porter Causby, her husband Lewis Henderson, two brothers Nesby Causby & Sam Causby, two sisters Florene Causby & Gertrude Petty. Mrs. Henderson is survived by two sisters Margaret Lee and Wanda Lewis and husband B.B. Lewis, two brothers Joe Causby and wife Martha and Eddie Ray Causby all of Shelby, NC. In addition to these Mrs. Henderson is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Cleveland Pines Nursing Center and Dr. Sidhu for the excellent care given to Mrs. Henderson. Funeral services will be conducted by the Revs. Danny Lewis and Allen Davis. Memorials may be made to Cleveland Pines Nursing Center, 1404 N. Lafayette Street, Shelby, NC 28150.
