Emma Stewart

Mrs. Stewart, 93, of Shelby passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she worked at Shelby Mill Company for 20 years, and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her parents John Manuel Blanton & Mary Sue Lynn Blanton, a brother Albert Blanton, and two sisters Barbara Newton Stewart and Bessie Wilson. Mrs. Stewart is survived byu her husband James Clinton Stewart of the home, a foster daughter Nieta McDaniel of Shelby, two foster grandchildren Jamie McDaniel and Amy McDaniel along with a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Mike Boone. Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 1114 South Lafayette Street, Shelby, NC 28152.
