Faye Young

Mrs. Young, 74, of Brian Center, Gastonia, NC, formally of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Young was a native of Cleveland County, a homemaker and had worked in textiles. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Lattimore, NC, and the D.A.V. Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her parents Wade Spencer & Bessie Johnson Spencer, her husband James A. Young, a son William "Bill" Young, and a brother Wade "Buck" Spencer Jr. Mrs. Young is survived by a son Jimmy Dean Young and wife Kathy of Shelby, and a grandson Joshua Young also of Shelby.
