Frances Mcmurry

Mrs. McMurry, 88, of White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at White Oak Manor. A native of Cleveland County, she was retired from Hamrick's and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, attended the Fred Rollins Sunday School Class at Lafayette Street United Methodist church, and was a member of the Shallotte Woodmen of the World. She was preceeded in death by her parents, John H. Palmer & Nettie Hicks Pendleton Palmer, husbands; Tracy Stewart and Ralph Grigg McMurry, a brother John H. Palmer Jr. and a sister Lillian Hope.
Mrs. McMurry is survived by two sons and their wives Tracy Mack Stewart & Lynda and William Bill H. Stewart & Diane all of Kings Mountain, NC, brothers and their wives Ben Palmer & Bryte of Polkville, NC, James R. Palmer & Polly of Charlotte, NC, Joe Palmer & Grace, Am Palmer & Gladys of Shelby, and a sister Kate Floyd of Shelby. Mrs. McMurry is also survived by grandchildren; Timothy Stewart, Tracy Stewart III, and Travis Stewart and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Owen Peeler.
