Fred Hope Robinson

Mr. Fred Hope Robinson., 93 , passed away Sunday May 28, 2023. A native of York County, SC, He was born on, August 28, 1929, son of the late Hampton Hope and Blanche Robinson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Brooks Robinson and one brother, Bill Robinson.

Mr. Robinson is survived by one son, Mike Robinson and wife Susan of Shelby, two grandchildren, Richard Robinson and wife Nikki of Shelby, Jennifer Schoolfield and husband Matt of Huntersville, five great grandchildren, Ethan Robinson, Carson Robinson, Zoey Robinson, Garrett Schoolfield, and Davis Schoolfield.

Mr. Robinson worked at Dover Mills for 42 years and was the oldest living member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Beaver Dam Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Tom Runyon.
