Frederick Troutman, Jr.

Frederick Marion Troutman Jr., age 78 of Shelby, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Porter Troutman of the home, a daughter, Cindy Proctor and husband Todd of Shelby, NC, two grandchildren, Abbie Proctor and Landon Proctor, both of Shelby, NC, a great grandson, Leo Larson, a brother-in-law, Mike Porter and wife Louise of Shelby, NC, three sister-in-laws, Dorothy Costner, Becky Bolin (Ronnie), and Mary Sanders and husband Al, all of Shelby, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born July 26, 1943 in Cleveland County, NC, Frederick was the son of the late Frederick Marion Troutman Sr. and Louise Hendrick Troutman and was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Smith (Harold), and brother-in-law, Dennis Porter (Wanda).

Frederick was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Cleveland Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Allen Davis.
