Furman Robbins

Mr. Robbins, 56, of 2403 Easton Drive, Shelby, NC passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he had worked at Woodchuck Chippers & Doran Mills. He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World and was a volunteer fireman at Shanghai Volunteer Fire Department for 6 years and ia presently an honorary member.
Mr. Robbins is preceeded in death by his parents Yates Robbins & Margaret Allen Robbins, and a sister Bertha Mae Robbins.
Mr. Robbins is survived by his wife Rita Lovelace Robbins of the home, a son Guy Nathaniel Robbins also of the home, a brother and his wife Donald Ray Robbins & Becky of Mooresboro, NC, and two sisters and their husbands Peggy Robbins Culberson & Mike, and Judy Robbins Henderson & Randy all of Shelby, NC. In addition to these he is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Todd Bolin pastor of Double Springs Baptist Church.
