Gail Walker

Gail Walker, age 68 of Shelby, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Terry Milson Walker of the home, a daughter, Stephanie Allen and husband Austin of Boiling Springs, NC, two stepsons, Tim Walker and wife Jennifer of Clover, SC, and Tony Walker and wife Hiza of Las Vegas, NV, a brother, Tom Walker and wife Jo of Shelby, NC, three sisters, Hazel Lovelace of Lexington, NC, Betty Jean Hudson of Waco, NC, and Delores Owens and husband Dennis of Shelby, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born June 6, 1953 in Cleveland County, NC, Gail was the daughter of the late Isaac Walker Sr. and Pauline Hull Walker and was preceded in death by a sister, Frances W. Luco, and three brothers, Isaac Walker Jr., Michael Walker, and Bud Walker.

Everyone knew Gail as a kind and sweet person.  She radiated love and wholesomeness.  Anytime anyone was around Gail, she would have an infectious smile that would bring joy to everyone.  Gail loved watching birds while in her rocking chair out on the porch.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her daughter Stephanie, which was her pride and joy.  Gail loved to travel which included Disney World, Graceland, and Charleston.
