George Latham

Mr. Latham, 83, of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Mr. Latham retired from P. P. G. Industries, was a Mason and served his country in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Latham was preceded in death by his parents Marion Augustus & Annie Ruth Brown Latham. Mr. Latham is survived by his wife Virginia H. Latham of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law; Carolyn Gold & Phil of Lattimore, NC, Sue Harmon & Wade of Boiling Springs, NC, two sons and daughter-in-laws; Bob Latham & Bonnie of Upland, California, and Tommy Latham & Regina of Shelby, NC, and Joe Latham of Smyrna, Tenn. In addition to these Mr. Latham is also survived by a brother and his wife Dean Latham & KoKo of Leesburg, Va. and grandchildren and their spouses; Sherri McSwain & Steve of Shelby, NC, John Harmon & Christa of Boiling Springs, NC, Brad Harmon & Casey of Shelby, Allison Qualls & Alan of Shelby, Jodi Stowe & Marc of Polkville, Jennifer Robinson & Marcus of Christiania, Tenn, Clayton Latham of Upland, California, Cory Latham of Chino, California, and Juatin Latham of Smyrna, Tenn., and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Paul Sorrells, and Rev. Jimmy Black. Memorials may be made to either American Diabetes Association, P.O.
