Gladys Morgan

Mrs. Morgan, 87, of 317 Washburn Switch Road, Shelby, NC passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Hospice at Wendover. Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker and member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church. She was preceeded in death by her parents Roby Cogdell and Leeila Smart Cogdell, two husbands J. T. Bridges and William David Morgan, four brothers, three sisters, and a grandson Dennis Bridges. Mrs. Morgan is survived by two sons and their wives; James Bridges & Delores of Shelby, Leonard Bridges & Tempie of Lincolnton, NC, a brother Roy Cogdell of Granite Falls, NC, and a sister Daisy Causby of Shelby. She is also survived by grandchildren Jimmy Bridges, Lynn Murry, Steve Bridges, David Bridges and Tammy Short, great grandchildren Kayla Bridges, Justin Bridges, Kimberly Murry, Kasey Murry, Tyler Bridges, Jonathan Busler and Kelsey Short, and one great great grandchild Kayla Burleson. Funeral services will be conducted by the Revs. Garin Hill & Gene Bumgardner. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
