Harvey Morrow

Rev. Harvey "H.D." David Morrow Jr., age 71 of Shelby, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sheila Carroll Morrow of the home, three sons, Charles Morrow of Kings Mountain, NC, David Morrow of Patterson Springs, NC, and Jeff Morrow of Gaffney, SC, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Paul Morrow and wife Imogene of Kings Mountain, NC, three sisters, Shirley Scruggs of Kings Mountain, NC, Evelyn Champion and husband Bill of Shelby, NC, and Wanda West of Kings Mountain, NC, a brother-in-law, Wallace Preston Carroll of Shelby, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born April 12, 1947 in Cleveland County, H.D was the son of the late Harvey David Morrow Sr. and Mae Hannah Morrow and was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard Boyles, Hubert Boyles, and Jerry Morrow Helms, and a sister, Wilma Mauney.
H.D.'s passion was to minister to the people. He enjoyed feeding the homeless, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. H.D. enjoyed making people laugh.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel conducted by Rev. Olita Conrad. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
