Helen Ledbetter

Mrs. Ledbetter, 63, of 2340 Flint Hill Church Road, Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she was a receptionist at Boiling Springs Medical Associates and most recently at Boiling Springs Women's Care with 30 years combined service. She was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church, where she taught 1st. grade Sunday School. Mrs. Ledbetter was preceded in death by her parents J. Max Whitaker and Celesta Belle Fraser Whitaker. Mrs. Ledbetter is survived by her husband Dan Ledbetter of the home, a daughter and her husband Jill Ledbetter Howard & Rick of Shelby, and a son and his wife Jason Edward Ledbetter & Kimberly also of Shelby, a granddaughter Savannah Howard, and grandsons Rex Howard, Benjamin Ledbetter, Jackson Ledbetter, Brett Ledbetter and Caleb Ledbetter all of Shelby, and sisters Lounette Davidson & husband Sammy of Charlotte, Betty Swanger & husband Gary of Arden, NC, David Whitaker & wife Burnette of Lattimore, and Roy Whitaker & wife Prue of Mooresboro, NC. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Shane Kirby & Dr. Wayne Stacey. Memorials may be made to Flint Hill Baptist Church Children's Ministry, 2207 Flint Hill Church Road, Shelby, NC 28152.
