Houmpheng Phanthalack

Mr. Houmpheng Phanthalack, age 77, of Kings Mountain, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Chanhsy Phanthalack of the home, four daughters; Laddavanh Phanthalack Swain and her husband Jeffrey Brandon, Laddavone Phanthalack Kortekaas and her husband Craig, Manisone Phanthalack, and Annie Phanthalack; two brothers, OnChanh Phanthalack, Houmpheng “H.P.” Phanthalack; and three grandchildren, Gavin Rhys Swain, Grayson Owen Swain, and Isla Kortekaas.

Born in Laos on May 15, 1946, Mr. Phanthalack was the son of the late Phanh Phanthalack and Souphanh Phanthalack.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by three siblings. He was a member of Wat Lao Houeikeo Indharam – 1005 Bethlehem Church Road, Grover, NC 28073.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel, 2518 West Dixon Blvd. Shelby, NC 28152, officiated by the Monks.
