Hubert Triplett

Mr. Triplett, 68, of Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby. A native of Caldwell County, NC, he retired from the Cleveland County School System. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where he had served as a Sunday School teacher, the Deacon Board and was a past Scout Master. He served in the U. S. Marines. Mr. Triplett was preceded in death by his parents Hubert Elliott Triplett Sr. & Mae McGarr Triplett. Mr. Triplett is survived by his wife Oleta Gettys Triplett of the home, sons and their wives; Chris Triplett & Jill, Tim Triplett & Gwen all of Shelby, bothers; Larry Triplett & wife Linda of Shelby, Carroll Triplett & wife Kaye of Lexington, SC, and Bob Triplett & wife Delle of Shelby. In addition to these his grandchildren are Nicholas Triplett, Aaron Triplett, Emily Triplett and Rebecca Triplett. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Eric Davis pastor of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and Rev. Andy Oliver pastor of Sandy Run Baptist Church.
