Jackie Drake

Jackie M. Phillips Drake, 73, of Shelby, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born Oct. 23, 1940, in High Point, NC to the late William A. and Mary Bell Franklin Phillips.
She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and formerly employed by Specialty Lighting.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Eugene Drake.
Jackie is survived by her sons, Ricky Eugene Drake and wife, Donna of Shelby, and Glenn Alan Drake of Shelby; grandchildren, Brandi Michelle Drake and Andy Goode of Boiling Springs, Christopher Eugene Drake and Mindy Maloney of Anderson, SC. and Crystal Marie Drake and Josh Brady of Cowpens, SC; step-daughter, Judy Griffin and husband, Robert of Battleboro, NC; David and Christina Smith of Lawndale, Victor and April Kennedy of Cherryville, and great-grandchildren, Jessie Scruggs, Jake Goode, Colton Drake, and Mason Drake.

The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Landmark Baptist Church, Shelby, NC with the Pastor Allen Davis officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior at the church.
Entombment to follow at Cleveland Memorial Park, Shelby, NC.
In lieu of flowers memorial made be made to: Landmark Baptist Church, 1724 E. Dixon Blvd., Shelby, NC 28152.
