James Bridges

A native of Cleveland County, Mr. Bridges was born on 8-5-1941 and passed away on October 18, 2011 at Hospice of Cleveland County. He had been employed by Fredrickson, C.S.e. and Universal Mfg. Co. as a truck driver. he was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by J. T. Bridges & Gladys Cogdell Morgan and wife, Delores Bridges. He is survived by sons, Jimmy Bridges of Shelby, David Bridges & wife Kathy of Grover; daughter, Lynn Murray of Forest City; grandchildren, Justin Bridges, Kayla Bridges, Kasey Murray, Kimberly Murray and great granddaughter Kayla Burleson. Visitation will be held at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory, Thursday 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Funeral will be held at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, Friday at 2 pm with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Garin Hill & Rev. Leon Brown will officiate.
