James Kee

Mr. Kee, 80, of 2914 Hugh Harrill Road, Shelby, NC passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Kings Mountain, he was a member of Community Baptist Church on Polkville Rd, Shelby, and retired from Ora Mill Company where he was employed for 43 years. He was an avid golfer and bowler in the years past. He also served in the U. S. Army.

Mr. Kee was preceeded in death by his parents James Clyde Kee & Harriett Hardin Kee.

Mr. Kee is survived by his wife of 56 years Nellie Robertson Kee of the home, two sons and their wives John Dereck Kee & Wanda of Shelby, and Roger Wayne Kee & Joann of Caroleen, NC, a daughter Libby Eaker of Shelby, a brother Jack Kee and a sister Yvonne Brookie both of Shelby. Mr. Kee's grandchildren are Johnathon Kee, Christopher Kee, and Timothy Jett and a great grandson Jackson Dean Kee.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Revs. Pete Bridges and Alton Martin.
