Janice Forbes

Janice Lee Forbes, age 75, of Ellenboro, NC passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Hospice of Forest City. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory Chapel, conducted by Rev. Andrew Rawls. A visitation will be held 1:00 - 2:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.

She is survived by a brother, Richard R. Lee and wife Lib of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a sister Gail Rimes of Magnolia, Mississippi, two aunts, Nadine Johnson of Shelby, NC, and Melba Callahan of Columbia, SC, and her special friends, Albert Bostic, Ann Grigg, and Mary Ann Blackwell.

Born October 31, 1938 in Lawndale, NC, she was the daughter of the late Shannon R. Lee and Evangeline Peeler Lee. She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Gregory Forbes, a brother Dennis A. Lee, of Earl, NC, and a sister Diane Lee Ware of Ellenboro, NC.

She was a lifelong member of Sandy Run Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC.

Pallbearers will be: Brian Ware, Gary Ware, Derek Ware, Andrew Ware, Mark Lee and John Lee.
