J.D. Haynes

J.D. Haynes, age 91 of Boiling Springs, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

He is survived by his son, James Haynes of Shelby, NC, two grandchildren, Jeff Haynes (Michelle) of Forest City, NC, and Jason Haynes (Angie) of Boiling Springs, NC, four great grandchildren, Emily Withrow (Ryan) of Forest City, NC, Kailey Pennington of Blacksburg, SC, Miles Haynes of Waco, NC, and Tayla Tessenear of Waco, NC, and a great great granddaughter, Gemma Withrow.

Born September 16, 1928 in Polk County, J.D. was the son of the late Frank and Bessie Haynes and was preceded in death by his wives, Colleen Lankford Haynes and Bell Ramsey Haynes, and two brothers, Arthur Haynes and Glenn Haynes.

J.D enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, January 10, 2020 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel.  Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
