Jenny Sneed

December 6, 1925 — June 13, 2012

Mrs. Jenny Sneed, 86, of Shelby passed away at Cleveland Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, June 13, 2012.  A native of Cocke County, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Jonnie Clevenger and Orlean Delozier Clevenger.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oakland "Buddy" Sneed.



She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching game shows, doing word searches and reading Billy Graham's books.  She was a member of Boiling Springs United Methodist Church.



She is survived by four daughters, Velma Dedmon and husband, Bobby of Sevierville, TN, Barbara Harvell & husband, Don of Riverside, CA, Joni Boheler & husband, Chuck of Grover and Joann Sneed of Ellenboro; two sons, Mike Sneed of Shelby and Jock Sneed of the home; grandchildren, Amanda Ackerman & husband, Jason of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Jennifer Kirk of Woodstock, GA, Jenny Shannon & husband, Patrick of Norfoldk, VA, Sheryl Olejniczak & husband, Johnny of Kinston, Mallori Owens & husband, Michael of Lattimore, Brad Harvell of Riverside, CA, Charlie Boheler and wife, Cecilia of Gastonia; great grandchildren, Jake & Trey Olejniczak of Kinston, Colson & Mia Ackerman of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Jillian Harvell of Riverside, CA and Madisyn Owens of Lattimore and caregiver and special friend, Wanda Glover of Shelby.



The family will receive friends at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory, Sunday, June 17, 2012, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and other times at the home, 1919 Holly Hill Rd., Boiling Springs, NC.



A service will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Monday, July 18th at 2:00 p.m.  The Rev. Doug Ramsey will officiate and burial will follow in the Veterans Cemetery.
