Mrs. Joanne Campbell Annas, 81 of Ellenboro/Bostic, passed away December 19, 2017 at Oakland Living Center in Rutherfordton.
She is survived by two daughters, Terri Jo Frashier and husband Todd of Rutherfordton, NC, and Lynn Campbell of Kernersville, NC, two stepsons, Tracy Annas and wife Beth of Gaffney, SC, and Talant Annas and wife Angie of Shelby, NC, a stepdaughter, Teresa Smart and husband Dan of Shelby, NC, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three sisters, Joyce Huggins of Ellenboro, NC, Juanita Tindell and husband Tom of Harleyville, SC, and Frances Duerr and husband Ken of Fort Mill, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born July 8, 1936 in Cleveland County, Mrs. Annas was the daughter of the late Charles Delmar Sailors and Ida Griffin Sailors and was preceded in death by her husbands, Claude Terry Campbell and Jerry Douglas Annas, a daughter, Ann Sprouse, a stepdaughter, Tawanna Padgett, a brother, J.C. Sailors, and a sister, Jeanette Connor.
Joanne lived her life serving God. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, square dancing, church activities, spoiling her grandchildren, and singing with her sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church in Ellenboro conducted by Rev. Michael Sepaugh and Rev. Scott Moneyham. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
