Johnie Norman

Mrs. Norman, 73, of 112 Woodhill Drive, Boiling Springs, NC, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at her home. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Samuel Botts & Florence Newton Botts. She was also preceeded in death by her husband, Amos Allen Norman, brothers, Buford Botts, Howard Botts and sisters, Betty Jean Botts, Elizabeth Botts Johnson and Mildred Botts Warlick. She emplyed as a clerk at Doran Textiles for 30 years. She was a mamber of Crestview Baptist Church. Mrs. Norman loved working with flowers and cross-stitching. Mrs. Norman is survived by a brother and his wife W. C. Botts and Lib of Casar, NC, sisters Billie B. Bridges of Valdese, NC, Mary Lou B. Ennis & husband Bob of Newland, NC, Dorothy Dean Norman & husband Loy of Valdese, NC. In addition to these she is also survived by special friends Sherrill & Betty Brittain, Barbara Carpenter, Joy Hicks, Mel & Cindy Campos, Janice Cable, Nadine Johnson & Ann Bridges. Funeral services will be conducted by The Revs. Stan Webb & Mel Campos. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
