Joseph Cody Ii

Joseph “Joey/JoJo” Lee Cody II, age 23 of Cherryville, NC, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022.

He is survived by his fiancé, Kayla Pruitt, his children, Dakota Jean Cody, Ella Lee Cody, and an expected son, Joseph Layth Cody, and a sister, Haley Diane Coarsey.  Born in Cleveland County, NC, Joseph was the son of Kayla Jean Hawkins (Randy Lee) and Joseph Lee Cody.

Joey enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, working on cars, and playing his video games.  He also loved hanging out with his friends and family and building bonfires.  Joey was a family man, loved his animals, and always had his little girls by his side.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00pm – 4:00pm Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Cleveland Funeral Services.
