Joshua Malkmus

Mr. Malkmus, better known as "Josh" graduated from Burns High School on June 9, 2011. He enjoyed playing baseball, football, and basketball during his middle school years and at the Y.M.C.A. While he enjoyed these sports, his real passion was computer/video games. Josh had been accepted into Fullsail University in Orlando, Fla. where he was to be a Video Game Programmer & Designer. Josh has been admired by many people for his courage and determination. He was known to many as a real hero. Josh was preceded in death by his grandmothers Becky Hollar and Janet Malkmus. Josh is survived by his father, Paul Malkmus & mother, Barbara Malkmus of Shelby; a brother Matthew Malkmus of Shelby; step-mother , Ann Malkmus of Shelby; two step- sisters Andrea Hayes of Gastonia, and Daniell Washburn of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and grandparents, Bill Hollar of Chiefland, Fla., and George & Rhonda Malkmus of Shelby.
